
Do you ever had nights where you yawn and felt tired but the moment you laid on your bed you felt like you are wide awake staring at the ceiling? That is what commonly known as Insomnia. No cure for this sickness except sleeping pills but not encourage-able because when you stop consuming the pills, you'll have sleepless night again and might get worse. It's like drug. Why do we have insomnia? This is due to the worries, problems and stress we had. Our mind keep thinking about the matter. My grandma had it,my dad had it and now it's my turn. It is a suffering moment when you can't sleep. In my experience, when i got insomnia, i get angry, pissed off at everything and i will be uncontrollable of my own anger. Is it that bad you might ask and the answer is yes. My dad consume sleeping pills once at a period of time. When he can't sleep, he will only think of a solution that is sleeping pills. Then 1 day he realize that when he don't consume sleeping pills, he won't be able to sleep at all. He overcome his sleeping pills with a great big power of WILL. Without his will i guess until today he won't be able to sleep. =) Well should thank God for that because he always reads the bible when he is down and powerless. My dad stop me from taking those sleeping pills. He would say just close your eye and leave your problems and worries aside and sleep. Thanks dad. He's my best dad.
Here are the tips to help you get a sleep:
-take a warm bath
-get a massage
-listen to soft musics that can lure you to sleep
-drink warm milk
-eat a bedtime snacks
-avoid caffeine, tobacco and alcohol
-sleep in a well ventilated room
-sleep on a good firm bed
-sleep on your back
-get some physical exercise in the day
-avoid naps
-keep regular bedtime hours
-get up early in the morning
Those stories are from my experience. Those tips are worth a try. Hope it can help you. Sweet dreams =)
